Mozart Was a Child Prodigy Shaped by Extreme Early Training

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart started learning piano at age three and was composing by age five — but recent scholarship suggests this was less innate genius and more the result of his father Leopold's intensive, systematic music education. Leopold was a prominent music teacher who documented everything, essentially running an early experiment in deliberate practice. Mozart's "natural talent" was inseparable from 10,000+ hours of guided training by age 12.
